Hi, I’m Andrea.
I’m an IFS-trained Canadian Certified Counsellor based in Yellowknife with a passion for helping people understand their inner world so they can better navigate their outer world.
I am also a fellow traveller in the human journey. Through my own challenges and longstanding meditation practice, I have learned firsthand the power of the mind-body connection and the importance of relationship with oneself in healing and transformation. These discoveries have guided my work with people seeking healing, self-understanding, and a greater sense of peace in their lives. Clients describe my style as warm, caring, and gently directive, and that sessions with me feel like “more than an expensive coffee date.” If you are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, shut down or the pain of grief, I invite you to join me in exploring what lies beneath and to reconnect with a steadier, more grounded version of yourself.

My approach is grounded in a simple intention: to help you understand your inner world so you can make peace with the past, engage more fully in the present, and move forward with purpose.
I tailor care to each person’s unique healing journey, drawing from a range of methods including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness, Existential Therapy, polyvagal-informed practices, and pain reprocessing work to create an approach that feels meaningful and supportive for you. Whatever challenges you face in the external world, my goal is to help you draw on your own ability to encounter them with intention, courage, and clarity. You are already enough, exactly as you are, and that truth is the foundation for our work together.
